Frequently Asked Questions
Hole In One Insurance – Turnaround Timeline
At US Hole In One, we are routinely asked when the best time to return a hole in one prize coverage application would be. While we can accomodate requests for coverage up until the first golfer tees off at an event, we typically recommend that our clients follow the following timeline:
Obviously, the sooner you can return a completed application, the better. However, if you must wait until the last moment, we recommend that you try to return an application at least 10 days before your event. The benefit of getting it in before this cutoff is that you we can safely guarantee that you will receive your hole in one contest signs in plenty of time for your event, plus there will be no shipping fees associated with getting those signs sent out to you.
If, you cannot get your application in to us at least 10 days before your event, we can still accept it and still get your signs out to you. In this case, you will be subject to our standard $25.00 shipping fee ($50.00 for overnight/$75.00 for Saturday delivery) if you elect to receive signage. Upon receiving your application, we will rush your signs out to you by shipping them via Express Delivery, typically via Federal Express or UPS.
Once we get to within 48 hours of your event, we can no longer safely guarantee that you will receive your signs in time. Although we can still honor your request to ship them as fast as possible, we can no longer ensure that they will arrive before your event begins. If you do not require any hole in one contest signage, we can accept applications up until the start of your event.
It is important to note too that payment must be received no later than the start of your event.
